Things to Know Before Going Parasailing
Location
Most parasailing operators are located on a shoreline or lake, so if you’re looking to parasail, you’ll need to be near the water. This is because parasailing requires a lot of open space in order to safely deploy and retrieve the chute.
Weather
Parasailing is a water sport, so it’s important to check the weather forecast before booking a parasail excursion. Ideally, you want clear skies and minimal wind and waves. Parasailers need very little wind in order to fly, but too much wind can be dangerous. Parasail chutes are like giant sails, so if there are strong winds, it’s not safe to be up in the air. Temperature

Also be weary of claims for price matching or “beating prices by 5%” because it usually means your parasail flight will be shorter. Most parasail operators charge per person, not per ride. This means that if you go tandem, you’ll pay less per person than if you go single.
